EL MANZANO EN TRANSICION HACIA UN FUTURO SUSTENTABLE

Everything is in decay after a summer of growth, leaves falling back to earth here in El Manzano.

What are we doing?

We are a small community in the middle of Chile, on an edge of the BioBio catchment, at the line between mediterranean eschelrofryl and temperate forests, on the edge of the central valley between Los Andes in the East and the mighty Pacific, Humboldt current and Chile Peru trench in the west.

We want you to write for us.

Tell us your transition tales, more stories about your projects please. Keep the international community posted on your progress, on your action learning. Your experience can provide learning opportunities for others. We want to know about everything sustainable-wise that is happening here in Chile and Latin America. 

We cant pay you cash...but maybe el manzano currency coming soon.

Here in El Manzano we are designing a regional hub of a learning organisation.This is happening in tandem with the design of the Instituto de Permacultura de Chile and various associated initiatives including a national design team. 

As we move from one anual cycle of action learning (thinking, planning, doing, reviewing and reporting) we are reviewing our progress and experience, and moving into a cycle of creative thinking about how we imagine the future of our organisation, and then a careful process of active experimentation - or planning.
