En marzo 2008 asistimos la orientación de la Universidad de Gaia en
IPEC ) (www.ecocentro.org/en)
en Brasil. Fueron un par de semanas maravillosas a donde aprendimos a usar toda
una nueva variedad de herramientas para la transición. Pienso que Laura Adler y
Andy Langford están haciendo grandes contribuciones al desarrollo de l
permacultura, o dicho en otra palabras, esta revolución de ciencia de diseño.
Javiera y yo creamos un modelo de nuestro aprendizaje y nos decidimos en
objetivos claves para el siguiente año. Nuestra meta es de establecer un centro
regional de la Universidad
de Gaia en la la región del Bio Bio en Chile.
Gaia University Orientation
In March 2008 we attended the Gaia University orientation at IPEC (www.ecocentro.org/en) in Brazil. It was an amazing two weeks where we learned a whole new suite of tools for transition. I think Liora Adler and Andy Langford are making a huge contribution to the development of Permaculture, or more broadly this design science revolution. Javiera and I developed the pattern for our learning pathway and set some core objectives for the next year. We aim to create a regional centre of Gaia University in the Biobio region of Chile.
