LIFELONG LEARNING PATHWAYS FOR TRANSITION INITIATIVES

We have redesigned the programme for this taller to meet the specific needs of people in Chile, and to provide advanced education for those wanting a longterm learning pathway in the Permaculture and sustainability movement.

The workshop will now combine three interelated themes;
(1) Procesos Participativos para Comunidades en Transición,
(2) Introduction to the Diplomado de Permacultura, and
(3) Introduction to Gaia University tools and processes. 

This is an advanced workshop for those comitted to creating world changing projects in thier own communities.You will have the opportunity to learn fundamental skills for planning and managing projects, for organising people and facilitating groups, how to develop a lifelong learning pathway as part of the global permaculture community.

PROCESOS PARTICIPATIVOS

This advanced design workshop is intended to equip facilitators with the skills for managing participation in transition related community projects.

Ecoescuela El Manzano invites you to participate in this event to mobilise the transition movement in Chile and Latin America. We want to support you to develop an initiative in your own community. Join us to make the most of this opportunity to gather a national network and develop practical facilitation skills in a group context with two of the worlds best. 

The training will use a theory into practice approach that raises questions which, in turn, direct the proceedings. DIPLOMADO

Queremos ofrecerles el proceso de Diplomado de Permacultura, a todo aquel que ya haya realizado  el Curso de Diseño de Permacultura aquí en Chile o en el extranjero. El Diplomado es un proceso de dos años, en el cual documentando nuestras acciones mostramos como hemos aplicado las éticas y los principios de la Permacultura en nuestras vidas, y como ellas han contribuido a generar cambio y acción en el mundo. Está basado en el proceso de aprendizaje en acción: pensar, planear, revisar, y especificar tu aprendizaje.

El proceso comienza con un taller de orientación, este año en el Taller Procesos Participativos para Comunidades en Transición, y termina con una presentación evaluada por tus compañeros. Cada cuatro meses, tienes que enviar un Reporte, el cual es el registro de tu aprendizaje. Para mayor detalles del proceso vean los archivos flyers adjuntados.

Los objetivos principales de este Diplomado son:(1) to support Permaculture Design Course students to make the deep dive into living sustainably, (2) ofrecer a nuestra familia permacultural una forma de organización para desarrollar una comunidad de aprendizaje, generando cambios positivos y empoderantes en Chile. (3) crear el sistema de Diplomado de Permacultura en Chile apoyando a otros estudiantes a “sumergirse y salir a flote” después del curso de diseño. 

INTRODUCTION TO GAIA UNIVERSITY

Due to the large interest in Gaia Univesity degree programmes, and the confusion around what ´´Orientation´´ means, we will be offering prospective students key insights into how Action Learning Methodology and Gaia University (GU) functions. This will be a one off opportunity to build relationships with the team in El Manzano, and to prepare yourself for taking the Pre-grado, Master or doctoral degrees in 2009. You will have the opportunity to work with our local GU team, widely recognised as international leaders in the Permaculture and Ecovillage movements, to develop the basis for your own world changing project. We will provide an introduction to the GU degree process and to the emerging project here in Chile to create a Regional Centre. ALIMENTACIÓN Y ALOJAMIENTO

Toda la comida y alojamiento están incluidos en el precio del curso. Frutas y hortalizas orgánicas/homa producidas en El Manzano. Disponemos de una amplia gama de alojamientos incluyendo camping, dormitorio compartido con colchonetas y una casita en la villa...distribución por orden de llegada o necesidad.

NIÑOS

Bienvenidos familias y niños!!! Reconocemos que niños pueden ser un factor de distracción durante el curso pero rescatamos la importancia y el valor de la interacción niño-adulto durante un curso de diseño. Para mas información sobre niños porfavor contáctanos. 

TRANSPORTE

Por favor coordina con nosotros el transporte hacia y desde El Manzano. La mejor opción es organizarse y compartir un auto desde tu propia comunidad al curso. Hay buses que llegan a Cabrero o al Cruce con la Ruta 5 donde los podemos ir a buscar. Porfavor avísenos para coordinar, solo realizamos un viaje a Cabrero al día. Si usted está viajando de Santiago sugerimos que usted reduzca costes conduciendo junto en un coche lleno!
