New Element
And now, a new element to our courses, live conference with
international guests and leaders in the permaculture, ecovillage and
transition movements. Our friends Geoff Lawton (Permaculture Research Institute), David Holmgren (Co-creador de la Permacultura), Darren Doherty (Maestro de la Permacultura), Liora Adler (cofundador de Universidad Gaia), y Rob Hopkins
(Transition Towns) will be joining us through live conference to share
with us their thoughts and experience about the challenges and
opportunities in the world of sustainability.
Our central objective is to train and equip a team of teachers
designers and regeneration actionists in Chile and around the world
working together to cultivate practical action for local resilience. A
transdisciplinary
team capable of creating (design and implement) lifeboats;
demonstration sites to serve as models to help build sustainable human
settlements in homes, schools, workplaces and communities.
The Permaculture
Design Course has motivated and trained thousands of permaculture
activists, designers and educators in the world ... ... a global
network generating local and global impact.
"What we are doing...permaculturists. Is the most important activity that takes place on the planet" (David Suzuki).
Immerse yourself in design science of Permaculture. Develop a basic understanding of the principles of natural systems and design needed to redesign human systems and societies.
"Permaculture is common
sense, that is no longer common" (Joe Polaischer).
Be
a leader in your community, equip yourself with the tools to redesign
your lifestyle, your school, your work or community for a sustainable

through advanced course attendance Permaculture
with David Holmgren (co-originator of permaculture) in the Rainbow
Valley Farm in New Zealand, and two intensive weeks of coordination,
translation and tour guide David Holmgren by Chile. His
motivation now is to create the Chilean Institute of Permaculture, and

children Permaculture will be held simultaneously in El Manzano for
children of parents who take the course design. For more information please contact us.
"The Permaculture Complete Course for children (CCPeNi) comprises most of the objectives that arise in a PDC for adults. Children of any age can choose this form of learning in action. Theory is delivered and put into practice immediately. These
concepts are used wisely to ensure the enjoyment of entertaining
education about the environment and intelligent design of living
spaces.
From
this work plan are expected specific outcomes, such as the balance in
the use of the resources that are extracted from the existing natural
resources around us and recycle them. Learn
about overconsumption and its effects on society, on the need for
biodiversity, and also raise awareness, build and use clean energy. Learn to sustain and maintain ecological environments through learning life live and play.
Learning and activities are governed mainly by the three Ethics of Permaculture:
• Care of the earth.
• Care of people.
• Sharing resources.
Some
activities are: making bread, a vegetable garden, natural farming,
everything about organic farming, composting, vermiculture, crop seeds,
observation of our environment, recycling, the design of our home etc
... All together with games, dances , art and fun as the kids like. "
